                                                                                                                How I Work

I work in empathic, compassionate and non-judgmental way. However, I may challenge you when I feel is necessary and safe enough to do so. I may also  provide with practical advise and tools to help to alleviate immediate distress before working on deeper levels if you wish.

I have been trained in several theoretical modalities such as: Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Brief Solution Focus Therapy and Mindfulness.

I have extensive experience working with:

  • Relationship Issues

  • Low Self-Esteem / Confidence

  • Dual Identity Crisis

  • Work Related Stress

  • Depression / Anxiety / Stress

  • Life Transitions and Change

  • Dementia

  • Bereavement

  • Childhood Abuse (male and female survivors)

  • Parental Guilt

  • Multicultural Counselling

I do short term and long term face-face work. When you schedule your first appointment with me, I will offer an assessment to help to decide where you feel you need the most guidance and think on focus of the work together, depending on issues and priorities. The sessions will last for 50 minutes.

For older clients with mobility issues. I can come to your place of residence if needed for assessment and face to face sessions.
